David Coverdale - Homesick for Yorkshire?

I was recently reminded that Whitesnake singer and all-round Rock God David Coverdale was born in Saltburn-by-the-Sea in North Yorkshire. He now lives a glamorous Rock Star life in Lake Tahoe California and I wondered if he ever got homesick for the less-conventionally glamorous charms of Saltburn.

Turns out he does!

David frequently chats with fans via his official website and is extremely generous with his time and good natured banter. I can’t reproduce my post and his answer here but you can read it by clicking here and then click on “BBS Search” on the right hand side and search on the word “cradle”. Sorry that I am not able to cut & paste the post directly but the terms & conditions don’t allow. Given the amount of time he puts into his website, obeying the rules seems to be the least I could do…
