Just posting few more photos. If anyone knows any good WordPress plugins or blog trickery to display multiple photos in a stylish way – please email me! Always open to suggestions – thanks.
We got up bloody early to get this photo. This is the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse in Augusta snapped just after dawn. I love the light and the colours in this one and it also brings back memories of a nice holiday with the wife.
These two old car wrecks can be found in Cape Naturaliste near Dunsborough WA. What’s left of them is sunk deep into the sandy soil near a path takes you through some scrubby countryside to outrageously beautiful beaches. It just seemed such a weird contrast to find these rusty old wrecks in such a natural setting. God only knows how or when they got there. I’ve had a few goes at photographing these two – I gave this image a sepia tone and added a (paraphrased) line from an old Rock ‘n’ Roll song to fit in with the 1950′s look of the cars.
I’m not religous but I think the drama and the beauty of the language in this psalm goes well with the striking image. This is Sugarloaf Rock and its also in Cape Naturaliste near Dunsborough. This was taken on the same day we did the cars – a good day all round.
An old favourite – those crazy metal cows and their bid for freedom via a trip to the Brunswick Show. Only in WA….
